Dr. Purity Muthoni is an environmental professional committed to advancing environmental knowledge, professional excellence, and sustainable development in Kenya. She serves as the Convenor of the Partnerships, Education and Communications (PEC) Committee at the Environment Institute of Kenya (EIK), where she contributes to strengthening the Institute’s professional development and stakeholder engagement initiatives.

In her role, Dr. Muthoni contributes to the planning and implementation of EIK’s Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programmes, which provide environmental practitioners with opportunities to enhance their technical competencies, exchange knowledge, and stay informed about emerging trends, policies, and best practices in environmental management. Through her leadership and engagement, she supports professional capacity building and the Institute’s commitment to advancing environmental excellence and sustainable development in Kenya.
