3rd EIK Conference Theme : Climate Change and Energy Transition.
Environment Institute of Kenya (EIK), is a Professional Body for all Environmental Practitioners in Kenya, with over 4,000 members. EIK mission is to regulate, empower its members and promote professionalism in environmental management towards sustainable development in Kenya. The Environment Institute of Kenya (EIK) is proud to announce the upcoming International Conference and Exhibition which will be held on 23rd – 25th October 2024 at Mombasa Continental Resort. The theme of the conference is Climate Change and Energy Transition. The theme is anchored on COP 28 deliberations which fronted equitable energy transition as a key pillar in the global climate action. The Government of Kenya has made a commitment to contribute towards attaining the 1.5 oC global goal by accelerating clean energy transition. Government agencies, academia, non-state and private sector actors have a critical role to play in framing the pathway to an orderly, just and equitable energy transition. This conference seeks to foster critical discussions, share innovative solutions, and build collaborations to address the pressing challenges posed by climate change and the imperative transition towards sustainable energy systems. The conference will entail scientific paper presentations, panel discussion, professional talks, networking sessions, exhibitions and innovation/industry awards.

Instructions for Registration
- Participants are expected to register online using the Conference registration Link. No individual will be allowed access to the meeting without first registering online.
- Keep your registration information secure. participants may register to attend the conference solely as listeners or attend the conference as presenters.
Call for Abstracts
Abstracts are invited on the wide range of topics as outlined. Presenters should submit an abstract of not more than 500 words in length with a maximum of five keywords.
Presentation Guidelines
Oral presentations and poster guidelines and templates will be shared to accept abstract authors. Outstanding presentations and posters will be selected for publication in a RIC book volume after the conference.
